This course has been developed to give learners an awareness of the dangers presented by alcohol and other drugs and the impact these can have in a workplace setting. The course includes an understanding of what alcohol and other drugs are, what happens to the human body when using alcohol and other drugs and how to remain safe and fulfil your legal responsibilities concerning drugs and alcohol at work. Duration: 40 mins  

Social and Digital Media and the Workplace

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the appropriate use of social and digital media in the workplace, and how to avoid breaching workplace standards and safety legislation. This course explores social and digital media and electronic communications, their benefits, how their use can be linked to the workplace, the legislation and workplace policies that can apply to your behaviour when you use them, the risks when using them inappropriately and ways that you can use them safely and responsibly. Duration: 40  

Bullying and Harassment for Employees

This course, based on Australian legislation, is designed to minimise the risk of bullying and harassment occurring in the workplace. The course provides employees with an understanding of how the law defines bullying and harassment in the workplace and provides an understanding of the effects of bullying and harassment, the types of behaviours that are defined as such, how to identify these behaviours and the employee responsibilities and actions to take. Duration: 55  

Dealing with Workplace Conflict

This course provides an understanding of how to deal with and de-escalate conflict in a workplace setting. Duration: 35  

Duty of Care for Workers

This course has been developed to provide an understanding of duty of care responsibilities in the workplace. Duration: 20  

Equal Employment Opportunity for Employees

This course provides an understanding of equal employment opportunity (EEO), discrimination and how complaints are managed. Duration: 40  

Information Cyber Security

This course provides an understanding of the steps that can be taken to help ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of an organisation’s information. Duration: 30 mins  

Manual Tasks for Workers

This course has been developed to provide workers with an understanding of the risks associated with manual tasks and an awareness of how to perform those tasks safely. Duration: 55 mins  

Office Ergonomics

This course has been developed to provide an understanding of how to set up a safe, healthy and productive office workspace and how to work safely in an office environment. Duration: 40 mins  

Privacy and the Workplace

This course provides the learner with an understanding of the right to privacy and how personal information must be protected in the workplace. Duration: 30 mins  

Risk Management for Workers

This course provides an understanding of what risk is, how risk is managed in the workplace and the employee role in reducing risks to health and safety. Duration: 30 mins  

Sexual Harassment

This course provides the learner with an understanding of how to recognise and avoid behaviour that could be considered sexual harassment, and what to do if they are being subjected to or witness this type of behaviour in a workplace setting. Duration: 25 mins  

Work Health and Safety Fundamentals

This course provides an understanding of health and safety responsibilities in the workplace, how risk is managed in the workplace using a risk management process, and what you should expect to find in the workplace to help you work safely. Duration: 45 mins
