The Aged Care Quality Standards 90-minute webinar is designed as both an introductory and a refresher session for all people involved in the delivery of quality and safe care, that all older Australians deserve.In the increasingly complex landscape of Aged Services, the Quality Standards set the expectations of person-centred care, and the collective contribution and responsibility of the workforce – in meeting and exceeding the requirements for each standard.The Quality Standards webinar challenges the participant to reconnect and apply the key principles that ensure that older Australians receive aged care services to suit their needs, interests and preferences.Improve compliance within your organisation, by attending the Quality Standards webinar and support to your workforce to understand and implement the Quality Standards effectively. Learning Outcomes:

Understand the Aged Care Quality Standards and their application in the workplace.
Understand the concept of person-centred care.

Target Audience: This webinar is designed specifically for front line and support staff and may also be useful for coordinators of a volunteer workforce.

Tickets are 1 per person. A Reminder email will be sent to registered participants 1-2 days prior to the session including the zoom link and any handouts.
Please note that an essential requirement is that all participants gain access to a PC and/or iPad or mobile device, and use a headphone set, although they do not need to be in the same location. Training rooms without personal headphones can result in feedback which may impede training delivery and reduce participant enjoyment. Headphones do not need to be expensive units, and many people have their own personal headphones /mic that they use with their smart phones, which will be suitable plugged into the computer unit if this is your choice of set up,
