This 2hr interactive workshop has been developed to support both existing Registered Nurses (RN) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) within aged care service settings, newly graduated RNs and EENs who are new to the Aged Services sector, and RNs who may be placed within facilities, under Australian Government Skills Migration arrangements.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the application of assessment, care planning, and documentation principles relevant to Standards 1, 2, and 3.
- Apply care planning and documentation to case studies
- Understand the principles of defensive documentation guidelines to support care recipient’s wellbeing and mitigate risk management for team members and organisations.
Target Audience: Existing Registered Nurses (RN) and Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN) within aged care service settings, and newly graduated RNs who are new to the Aged Service sector, and RNs who may be placed within facilities, under Australian Government Skills Migration arrangements.
