Anna Klis and Annastacia Wainaina
Trainer Short Bio

Anna Klis is a Registered Nurse with over 17 years’ experience in the health and aged care industry, with vast experience in operational and clinical management, governance, compliance, training and change management. Anna ensures culturally sensitive solutions, developing strategies to maximise performance through strategy and risk management of the organisation and focusing on the importance of rigorous governance frameworks and system implementation for safe and quality care. Through the Remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Aged Care Service Development Assistance Panel, Anna has extensive experience working with regional, rural and remote organisations.

Annastacia Wainaina brings a unique perspective to leadership, born from the endless plains of her childhood Kenya dreaming about possibilities, to time spent in Finland studying nursing, then arriving in Australia in 2007 to continue her nursing career, before transitioning into aged care. Since then, Annastacia has undertaken leadership roles, providing strategic support for managing aged care and hospitals. She is an experienced clinical consultant and coach who focuses on optimizing leadership capability to achieve outcomes.
Today, alongside her career on the front lines of health, Annastacia also hosts a pod cast, Freedom Fire, and is the author of Ignite – Blazing the Fires Inside of You. A professional speaker and leadership strategist her goal is to ignite new possibilities and to light a fire under purpose, uniting humanity to reach higher together.

Tickets are 1 per person. A Reminder email will be sent to registered participants 1-2 days prior to the session including the zoom link and any handouts.
Please note that an essential requirement is that all participants gain access to a PC and/or iPad or mobile device, and use a headphone set, although they do not need to be in the same location. Training rooms without personal headphones can result in feedback which may impede training delivery and reduce participant enjoyment. Headphones do not need to be expensive units, and many people have their own personal headphones /mic that they use with their smart phones, which will be suitable plugged into the computer unit if this is your choice of set up,
