Laura Sutherland is a Workforce Specialist, Leadership and Career Coach.
Initially trained in Psychology, Laura started her career in Aged Care and Mental Health. She then moved into Recruitment 17 years ago, specialising in these sectors.

After recruiting for large companies in London and Australia, Laura identified the need for a bespoke service to meet the unique demands of Aged & Community Care, and started 3D Recruit 10 years ago in 2012. A few years later she evolved the business to offer end-to-end workforce solutions ‘Above & Beyond’ recruitment to also engage, retain and develop the workforce in Aged Care.

In addition to running the business, Laura takes a proactive role in the sector, she was the inaugural WA Chair for LASA’s Next Gen, and currently sits on a NFP Aged Care Board.

Considered the go-to trusted advisor on recruitment, people & culture in Aged Care, Laura’s vision is to improve the outcomes of organisations by improving the effectiveness of their most valuable asset – their people.

Please note that an essential requirement is that all participants gain access to a PC and/or iPad or mobile device, and use a headphone set, although they do not need to be in the same location. Training rooms without personal headphones can result in feedback which may impede training delivery and reduce participant enjoyment. Headphones do not need to be expensive units, and many people have their own personal headphones /mic that they use with their smart phones, which will be suitable plugged into the computer unit if this is your choice of set up,
