Robyn is an independent training provider for 'Mental Health & Wellbeing Training Solutions' and has over 15 years’ experience in the mental health sector.
She is an accredited ‘Master Instructor’ with Mental Health First Aid Australia, is a facilitator/teacher with TAFE SA for the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work qualification and has a special interest in the mental health of Older Australians.
Previously employed in education, training and peer roles, Robyn is a passionate trainer and advocate for positive mental health, and for recovery from mental illness.
Her extensive experience in the government and non-government mental health sectors, and her lived experience provides ‘value added mental health training with a difference’ that is continually acknowledged through customer and trainee feedback.

The 1.5 hour webinar will provide an insight and understanding about older people who display challenging behaviours.  Challenging or concerning behaviours such as irritability, confusion, sadness, anger or hopelessness in older people can be confronting. The webinar will provide helpful information as to why older people experience challenging behaviours and helpful strategies to respond to this behaviour. Learning Outcomes:

 Target Audience: Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) personal aged care workers, team leaders, supervisors and CHSP volunteers.     Disclaimer: CHSP Ticket price subsided by SA and NSW Sector Support and Development (SSD) funded by the Australian Department of Health. Tickets are 1 per person. A Reminder email will be sent to registered participants 1-2 days prior to the session including the zoom link and any handouts.
Please note that an essential requirement is that all participants gain access to a PC and/or iPad or mobile device, and use a headphone set, although they do not need to be in the same location. Training rooms without personal headphones can result in feedback which may impede training delivery and reduce participant enjoyment. Headphones do not need to be expensive units, and many people have their own personal headphones /mic that they use with their smart phones, which will be suitable plugged into the computer unit if this is your choice of set up,
