Most Australian workplaces reflect our diversity with about 13% of workers born in non-English speaking countries and 23% born overseas.
This 90-minute online training program for residential and community aged care sector employees (including Volunteers) will help build a supportive workplace by providing the practical skills, knowledge and tools to support and engage in an effective relationship with new employees, workplace trainees and students from a diversity cultural backgrounds.  The workshop aim is to assist staff and volunteers (across all job roles) and create a cultural aware and inclusive workplace.This session will look at developing a supportive workplace for employees from multi-cultural backgrounds to assist in improving team cohesion and create opportunities to improve cross-cultural care for residents.
