Rebecca Mezzino is one of Australia's most experienced Declutter Coaches and has been helping people to simplify their lives for over 13 years. Specialising in complex cases, Rebecca works primarily in the fields of disability, aging, neurodiversity and mental health.

An expert in teaching people how to have a positive relationship with their belongings, Rebecca is a sought-after media source, industry mentor, speaker, and trainer. She’s also a mother, geek, houseplant addict and rock-climber (when she can find the time!).

A introductory webinar designed for Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) workers who have a supportive working relationship with older people in their home and who come in contact with clutter and hoarding in the course of a working day. The webinar will provide an understanding of hoarding, skills and confidence to provide support to the older client for CHSP workers.


Learning Outcomes: 

  • Raising awareness of hoarding
  • Understand why people hoard
  • The psychology behind hoarding and clutter, triggers, signposts, dangers, risk and harm minimisation
  • Establishing and maintaining positive and productive relationships
  • Confidence to support the older client to address the issue in their home
  • Exploring funding options, finding resources and services.


Target Audience: CHSP Aged Care – Personal Care workers, Supervisors, Team Leaders & Practitioners

Tickets are 1 per person. A Reminder email will be sent to registered participants 1-2 days prior to the session including the zoom link and any handouts.
Please note that an essential requirement is that all participants gain access to a PC and/or iPad or mobile device, and use a headphone set, although they do not need to be in the same location. Training rooms without personal headphones can result in feedback which may impede training delivery and reduce participant enjoyment. Headphones do not need to be expensive units, and many people have their own personal headphones /mic that they use with their smart phones, which will be suitable plugged into the computer unit if this is your choice of set up,
